Grammy-nominated guitar virtuoso Gil Parris is known for his special blend of blues, jazz, rock, and smooth jazz. He has recorded and toured as both a solo artist and sideman with major artists like Dr. John, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Diane Schuur, David Mann, Billy Vera, Bobby Caldwell, and Toni Braxton, to name just a few.

-He is a major label recording artist: his self-titled debut CD (1998) was released by RCB/BMG and was hailed as "a smashing debut" by Guitar One and "an impressive beginning" by JAZZIZ Magazine. 

-He has appeared on N.B.C.'s The Today Show, C.B.S., B.E.T.'s Studio Jams, The Food Network, and on the national DVD release Masters of the Stratocaster (2006). 

-He has charted No. 1 songs on Music Choice. 

-He boasts a Hot Licks artist video and the first TrueFire artist course, Inside Out (4 CDs).
